I got the reset card from Palm and it worked. I called the technical support number (the one that they say they will charge you for each call if you are out of warranty) and after being on hold for 45 minutes told them that I needed the reset card. They sent the card and didn't charge for the reset card or the technical assistance call.

Tried calling Palm. After 30 minutes on hold I got a real person and they will send the reset card at no charge. They didn't offer this option but I specifically asked for it. I sure hope it does the trick.

I called Palm and had them send me a Palm Reset Card. I found this information in another thread and had to call Palm to ask for the Reset Card. They will take your call no charge and send you the Palm Reset Card no charge. It worked beautifully!! None of the support people at Palm seemed to be aware of this fix, though.

My Palm stopped syncing on both my work and home computer at the same time. I have been syncing fine with XP and USB. I found a thread where someone mentioned getting Palm to send you a Palm Reset Card. I called Palm and they didn't offer this solution, but I asked for the Palm Reset Card and it worked beautifully! They took my call and sent the Reset Card no charge. Unfortunately, nobody at Palm seems to know about this solution.

The printer only prints the centre 15 cm section of the page. It completely cuts off the top and bottom.

Try unplugging your communication cable and turn everything off. Turn everything back on and plug in the cable. If that doesn't work delete the printer from your printer list and re-install it. Usually in this type of scenario it's a communication issue.

I had a power flicker during the time I was hot syncing my Palm TX. The hot sync did not work, and it would not hot sync at all after that. On advice from Palm's website, I downloaded the latest desk...

If so much has happened to your handheld then the only thing left to be done is a reinstall of the firmware, as that is the only solution to a corrupt firmware because of the power glitch while it was doing something. The glitch has corrupted the firmware and thats how it needs a reinstall. Nothing serious but such things do happen i electronics.

Treo 755p Getting Stuck During HotSync

If you have another computer you could try installing the software on that to see if the Treo will sync.
This would determine if it's a computer problem or if it's your Treo.

When you unchecked the datebook to sync after uninstall/reinstalling, was it able to sync then?

I have had other palms get hung up to a certain point during the sync, but uninstalled the program or disabled it from syncing like you tried and it usually works.

PLEASE HELP ME

Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

Keyboard not responding

Solution. My wireles keyboard stopped working except for the F-Lock key, the Media key and the sleep key. It wasn't batteries, even though I tried, communication was there because the above keys were working. Remove the batteries from your keyboard and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the red connect button a few times and other various keys every few minutes during that time. This may be the whole "capacitor discharge" trick, but I tired that with someone elses instructions and my keyboard did not work after 2 minutes of key pressing. I think it just needed more time to clear out the secure settings. Good luck, I was about to trash this keyboard until I tried again

Hot sync does not complete!

Something similar happened to me due to incorrect periodic entries in the Datebook, try disabling all elements in the Hot Sync, try it, and if it works, then add them one by one until you find the offending one, then focus on clearing that DB.
(Actually i simply stopped synching Datebook since i didn't wanted to loose all the history of appointments i have).
