Had to change and re-program my T3 as a reult of changing my account name on my Laptop from Admin to Brian. Now everytime I hot Synch the Palm I have to 'reset'. It seems to re-install my apps each time and re-build my databases. I use 'Beyond Contacts' and 'Documents To Go'. My conduits are setup as per the following: Calendar Desktop overwrites handheld Contacts Desktop overwrites handheld Tasks Do nothing Memos Synchronize Files Date Book Do Nothing Address Book Do nothing To Do List Do Nothing Memo Pad Do Nothing Expenses Synchronize Files NotePad Synchronize Files Voice Memo Synchronize Files Versa Mail Do Nothing Documents To Go Sychronize Files Palm Photos Do Nothing Beyond Contacts Synchronize Files Install Enabled Install Service Templates Enabled Install to Card Enabled System Desktop to overwrite Handheld
Do you still have administrative access to your laptop? IIRC there are some problems with using PD with a non-admin account.
I would recommend that you back up the "good" backup data on the Laptop. In PD, Choose Tools/Options, the "Data Directory" entry shows where the data is stored (in a subdirectory that looks like the first six characters of the Palm's User ID)
