Well I've had my Palm Zire 72 for almost a year now. For the first 11 months I got about 3 "Fatal Exceptions", (which to me is unacceptable) but for the last month myself and a cowoker with the same Palm have been getting these Fatal Exceptions just about every day. A few weeks ago we noticed there is now a LyncHS program, what is this? We have run virus and spyware scans to make sure it is not just our network causing the problems. It happens most often while sync'ing but it has also happened during normal handheld use. This is completely unacceptable and if this is a Palm application causing our headaches we would like some answers. Niether of us are running any third party apps when the crash happens and we have been syncing with Outlook 2000 SP-3 on WinXP Pro systems. Please help
LyncHS, Zire 72, Soft Reset and XP Professional I do a sync and my PDA crashes... I have to do a soft reset almost every single time. I have been having the same exact problem but cannot seem to find anyone who can help!!!! Before I got my Zire 72 I had this problem with my Sony Clie. I even narrowed it down to this LyncHS application and still could not get help. I finally purchased a new PDA because I was getting tired of this happening. It was not the PDA... it is the Palm OS or a Palm application that is a problem. I have not installed ANY third party applications so PalmOne needs to quit trying to tell me to uninstall those. MitaMe, you are absolutely correct... this is not acceptable and since I am not the only one having problems, I fully expect PalmOne to take it more seriously and try to resolve it. I should not have to perform a soft reset most every time I sync on my Windows XP Professional PC. By the way, I sync on my computer at home which is not Windows XP Pro and this does NOT happen.
