I got a Alpine cda-9851 cd player today. I popped the face plate off to see where the cd goes in, but theres not a slot for it! Do i have to have a 6 disk changer for it?

this is a motorized deck. just press the eject button and it should open. the eject button should be on the lower right hand corner of the face.

When i want to insert a cd the face wont open down,

Take the face off and use a pin to reset the player, or disconnected the battery for 1 hr that will reset the player

Then try and let me know

Cd player won't open

Try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes, the unit may reset when you re-connect the battery. Worth a try.
