I use to have a visor and could hotsynch my email messages with it using intellisync. Now I am using the same intelisync software with this palm m125 and there appears to be no option for email on the device. I have purchased a 128 mb memory stick for the device. Is there any way to get my email messages onto my Palm device?
Thanks for the help!!

HI, I had the same problem with my palm. The first thing I did was to make sure I had the most up to date software on my computer. YOu can get this by going to www.palm.com and cklicking on PDA's and then the name of your palm. From there it will bring up a page that has all the up to date desktop software. If you have the up to date desktop software and you have all your information backed up on your computer then preform a hard reset. This will ERASE everything on your palm. If you need directions on how to do this send me a comment and I will get those directions. If you ahve the manual it should tell in there how to do a HARD reset. The hard reset will restore it back to all the default settings and erase it just as if it were new,. After you get to this point do another Hot Sync. It hould sync for you just fine. Hope this works for you. I had great results doing this. Best wishes.
Hi Robin,
I'm not sure this will solve the problem but it might be worth a try,
create a back
Preform another reset
Yhis time before synchronizing with the old data, install the software. only the synch it with the old data.
Good Luck
This would likely occur if the M$ I-Explorer is configured for OE as the default Email application.
To inspect and change, ope IE, select Tools/ Internet Options/ Programs.
Change the Email selection to app currently utilized.
I use Versamail with my web-based, non-work email account (which is what it sounds like you have - web-based at least). I don't sync Versamail, I just use it to dial in to my account and download/send emails.
just check your PalmOne folder, see if anything there, i.e., :
C:\Program Files\palmOne\\Internal Drive Backup
***********************
well, a hard reset should be able to restore to LD new-out-of-the-box state, if you don't need to save any corrupted files in LD drive... But if they are something really important, what you can do is to copy whatever files out to a PC (i.e., via drive mode on a PC), and see if you can recover it with data recovery apps, or better yet, do it straight on the LD drive - although the chance of success is slim.
What you described on previous post, sounds like the FAT table has messed up, and seems very similar to a PC HDD failure.

Go to your outlook profile on your pc and find out what changed or the files will end up in two profiles. Depending on how much memory you have left........
Update dominance in Palm Desktop app.
Figured it out! Go to the Palm Desktop application. Click on HotSynch, and then Custom. On each of the four Outlook conduits, click "Change", and specify that desktop dominates, if desired.
