i have a mitsubishi ws-55859 rear projection tv. the green timer light just keeps flashing and the tv will not turn on.

You have a bad DM board - the capacitors are bad and need to be replaced. I was able to replace them myself. There are no replacement parts available and many repairmen will charge hundreds of dollars and there is no guarantee they will fix it.

you need the V21/V19 DM repair kit which is available at the following link which has the replacement capacitors and the step by step instructions with pictures.

Did you push in the device and the menu buttons at the same time and get the error code...  I have the same problem and I get a 1,2 code....   I am looking for what the codes stand for...

this is a job for experienced tech most of the problems are rela ted to convergence IC's in this case

Check any/all fuse devices in power supply.Let me know.....T.
By the way,the tv serial # is 107543. I assume the model # is
as stated==WS-55859.
