Power and Diag lights blink.

The power and Diag lights blink constantly. I've tried reset but it has no effect. No connection with the Internet can be established. Is the router just worn out or is there something I can do?

When the diag and power light always blink it only means one thing there's a problem with the router, Try tor eset it by pressing the reset button for 30 seconds then after that tunr off the power for 5 seconds then trun it back on, of the diag and power light are still blinking the router is already bad and needs a replacemenet, If the router is still under warranty have it replace to Linksys this is the number 800-3267114.

Hope that helps.........

My Netgear WPN824 wireless router stopped working. With the exception of the internet LED (which doesn't come on at all), all of the lights are blue and doing sort of a slow, pulsating blink. No m

The RESET button is for resetting the wireless section of the router and does not effect the Internet connection.
It looks like the wireless access is faulty especially when you cannot reset and configure the wireless settings.
Try powering off the Netgear for 10 mins the connect the power again.
If you still cannot RESET the Netgear then it is faulty and you need a new wireless router.

Power light is on and doesnt blink, Link light is solid green and there's a red light on the "diag". when I try to plug a Lan cable into the router I get no up link. My friend ask me to take a look at the...

You said there is a diag light lit up on the router.
In that case you can try to reset the rotuer for 30seconds . unplug the power and plug it back in. wait for a minute.
Check the lights on the rotuer. If you still see the diag light then try to reset the rotuer again. If there is a diag light on the router then the rotuer is not working.
Try to reset the rotuer for 2 - 3 times . power cycle the router till you get no diag light.
Once the diag light is gone then reconfigure the router.
Connect the modem to WAN port and computer to one of the 4 ports. Do not conenct anything to the uplink port.
Reconfigure the router.

Constantly blinking Activity light

Well, you are very correct with the activity light blinking and the increased blinking except the fact that modem will encounter a problem in future...
The 5 different lights on your modem namely Power, Ethernet, DSL, Internet and Activity have their own indications and explanations.
1. The Activity Light indicates the amount of activity that is takin place on the computer on the Internet though the activity might blink even when you are not browsing. This can be explained by stating that the computer constantly keep sending signals  about it being connected to the internet and any other acknowledgements..

So, you've got nothing worry about unless the Power or the Ethernet or the DSL or the Internet light Blinks....
Cause they are the resultants of a fried modem(check for the adapter), faulty LAN connections, interrupted Dsl line and the account verification failure indications respectively.....

Timer light blinks on and off and tv wont turn on

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.
If ever resetting is no effect then the problem is in the "DM board"
The constant blinking green light means that the TV is not booting up. This is a common problem on this set. Hope it may help you; Regards, VOTIT

Linksys WRT54G router

Yes there's a possibility that the router is dead already because that diag light will only be lit up when there's a hardware failure on it, you can try press resetting the router by holding the reset button for 30 seconds then power it off then power back on hopefully the diag light will be off, if still on you need to replace the router already...

Hope that helps.........

Wireless router G WRT54 V8 cisco systems light is not on any more

Had the same problem -- hold the reset button (on the back next to the ports) in for 30 seconds while on and then pull the power plug and wait 30 seconds before replugging --- it should completely reset and you will have to redo your settings but you won't have to buy a new router atleast..
