I have recently acquired an HP iPAQ hx2100. Everything is working fine except the unit keeps turning itself on without any buttons being pressed or the screen being touched. I have checked "Running Programs" and find that ActiveSync is running (even though I haven't selected it). When I try to stop the program running I receive an error message saying the program is busy, or not responding. It stops running when I select cancel, but then two hours later the unit switches back on and ActiveSync is running again. Any guidance on how to stop this happening would be very much appreciated.
Go to the ActiveSync options of your pocket pc and to go to Mobile Schedule and choose "Manually". I think it's set to sync automatically in a few minutes that's why it turns itself on.
