Hello Peter,
Once the device has been neglected for oil long enough you will get this error code. Usually people don't wait until the code occurs. You WILL INDEED need to go into service mode. To do this, you will need to follow a fluid 3 step process. First locate the "CLEAR MODES" key located obove the 9 key pad. It is yellow. Now locate the red STOP button located below the 9 key pad.Ok, to enter service mode you will need to press "Clear /Modes"and release, then press the numbers "1,0,7" in a 3 step sequence and release, then press the red STOP button and HOLD it down till the device beeps. The screen will change and say service mode. Press "COPIER". The screen will change again. Using the keypad press 5,8,1,0 and then press the pound sign {#}. You will be prompted/asked to EXECUTE. Press EXECUTE. Now unplug the device while in service mode after the execution of the 5810. Wait a sec, plug her up, and you are done. Have a good day and let fixya know I helped. :-) SPINAL

ERROR SC 570 RICOH AFICIO 1232C HOW CAN I FIX

Hello,

The machine has no fuser oil.
Fill the little tank at the back side of the machine. If the tank is full, check the tubes, oil pump, and oil sensor.
Reboot the machine to clear the SC.
The problem will be solved

Ricoh fuser oil replace message

That is not a good idea. The oil is kept track of by counting pages, not by a sensor that measures the oil level. The oil runs out and the machine can't tell and now you have ruined the fuser. Which cost a lot more than the oil tank.

Sc 570 error code

SC 570 means Fusing oil end.
You have insufficient oil in the oil tank situated at the rear of the machine, please fill up with correct oil.
Afterwards please enter SP mode 5-810 and set to 1, then switch off and on the machine.
If you have sufficient oil in the tank and sc570 re-occurs, you have a defective oil pipe, oil pump or oil end sensor.

Error Code SC570 for copier Aficio 1224C

It could be covering the sensor. Clean the fuser oil sensor off and see if it goes away.

SC570

Would you like a little insight? I would take Bubbabear64 suggestion. If the oil bottle is not full, the disk it the bottle will un block the sensor that is telling the copier that it is all out of fixing oil, FYI the cost of the oil is about $70.00, so your price is most likly $150 - 250 maybe. To reset the code you have to go into service mode.
