How to play wmv files

Windows Media Video, or WMV files, is a type of video that can be played on your computer and portable media players. In the past, computer users have been known to have difficulties opening these files due to a flaw in Windows Media Player or the WMV file. These issues have since been resolved with the newer versions of Windows Media Player and other similar media players. WMV files should now open and play with ease.

Begin by downloading the latest version of Windows Media Player (see link in Below). http://www.filewin.net/Windows-Media-Player/download/?p=AU-DNM Windows Media Player is the default player for Windows Media Video files. If you have just purchased a new computer, the computer probably already has the latest version of the program. Right click on the WMV file you want to play. Select "Open With." Several different programs will appear in a small box. Choose "Windows Media Player." Windows Media Player will then open on your computer. Wait for the WMV file to load. When it does, a message may appear in Windows Media Player informing you that the WMV file is missing an extension. Click "Yes" and Windows Media Player will still attempt to load the file. The WMV file should then begin playing in Windows Media Player. Hope this helps.

I am trying to download music I purchased on itunes to my mp3 player. It shows it on the list when I have it on the computer, but does not show or play on the actual mp3 player. What do I do>

Hi dasdis07...

You did not say what manufacture your MP3 player is so it is hard to tell you what to do.
I will assume you have a normal MP3 player...not an Ipod.
Check to see what format your MP3 player will play...because the I-tunes songs are in ACC.
Normal everyday players play MP3,WMA,ect...but will not play ACC that plays on ipods.
You will also need to download (FREE) and run a media converter so that you can convert your ACC music files to MP3,WMA,etc files that will play on your MP3 player.
Once you have your music converter and on Windows Media Player, then you can transfer them to your MP3 player
What your going to have to do is follow these instructions below:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Music to MP3 Player

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.
