JVC kw-avx640 stereo recognizes, reads the iPod and displays the art and even shows the song playing on the screen but produces zero sound. Everything else on the stereo plays sound; FM, CD, DVD and even the 1/8 jack audio input with the same iPod. Just no iPod sound with USB. I have all settings set to iPod. What could cause this?

was simple i got in touch with as i do not have a manuel got lost some how so i got the diagram and was able to solve the problem infact its got a usb port at the back of the unite just pluged y ipod usb in

I had the same problem, the cd refused and radio plays good, with JVC KD G321. I have disconnected the switches behind the radio and also disconnected the antenne (do not forget the antenne) and it played the cd again.

ok you need to go into your a/v manue and sellect ipod off for your input this will make it work under the ipod screen settings/ a/v / input / ipod off ... i hope you smile bright while watching your vids soon

Any soultions? The same thing JUST happened to me aswell. Things were peachy until a few hours ago. I have the iPhone 3Gs. Never had any problems until now.
