Black spots on printed sheets. I think the rollers need cleaning. I have a Ricoh Aficio AP 600

NEVER attempt to clean the drum. Touching it will leave your finger print on every printed page. Scratch it slightly and it's ruined so never think about cleaning it. Look for printer roller cleaning sheets at your local office supply store. They are sticky on both sides. You run a sheet through the printer several times to clean paper dust off all the rollers in the paper path.

Clean the roller with water or Isopropyle Alcohol. It works 100%.

looke my friend black lines have many reasons on of various reasons rollers in fusing unit may be scratched if it like that use marker black pen and put pen in spots of scratch area sconde reason pcr primary charge roller and scanner filter

Either the drum unit is marred or some toner has migrated to where it shouldn't be, possibly onto the fuser roller. A thorough cleaning might be in order.

yes i think your right a slight flat when you turn the roller is a problem. check gears and hot roller and rubber roller bearings. hope this help your problem.

sounds to me like there is damage to the charge roller in the black pcu. these can be dissasembled and the charge roller inspected/cleaned but the blk drum units are inexpensive enough its probally just better to replace it

Hi, i'd start with cleaning any rubber rollers in the paper path, if its picking multiple sheets and then jamming, it will need a pick roller and seperation pad, hope this is helpful ,M.

If the marks are along the same line and look like dots the black photoconductor needs to be repalced.

The feed clutch for the feed tire is stuck on ... Replace the clutch

Running cardstock lightly misted with water or dilute cleaning solution through several times can help. Use either the feed button or print using a program that allows you to print blank pages.
