Sound like maybe a dispenser board short... you could try taking of the top hidge cap on the freezer side unplug the power to the board there for 30 minustes or so plug back in and see if it can reset to default and try that before u have to change board

make sure you push the ice lever back down

SOURCE: Maytag Widey Side not cooling enough

Check to see if you have frost on the back panel of your freezer in your fridge. If you do your coil is frozen over and you'll have to defrost your freezer. I just did mine cause mine wasn't cooling properly on my fridge side. If it is that it's going to fill the pan under your fridge and overflow.

SOURCE: Ice cubes are frozen but will not eject into the ice bin. I need to know how to get them out.

HI, You can use a hair dryer to the bottom side of the ice maker and it will let the cylce finish and remove the cubes. Can you tell if the cycle has started?
