OH MY GOD! WHY ARE WE YELLING!?!! THE BATTERY IS CHARGED!? AHH, RUN FOR THE HILLS! THERE ARE CHARGING BATTERIES HERE!
Secondly, you didn't even pose a question. I can assume you meant to add 'WHY, LORD, IS THE HAPPENING TO ME, WHY!!?!", to which I say, "When phones get wet they get broke."
There seems to be a reset to factory settings code that you can type into the key pad. Although I dont know exactly how to find it, you can troubleshoot the problem online with the LG website.
cool, the issue ont he phone can possibly go to a faulty battery or a battery terminal; worst case will go to the whole power supply of the phone (Battery, terminal and charging capacitor;usually called the power IO)
you may try leaving the battery to drain out, leave it like that for at least over night, while it is off, charge it for about 4 hours max, then turn it back on. if this did not work, remove the battery check if it is swollen. and check the terminal if it is dirty, if so, just clean it with ethyl alcohol on a Qtip.
I had the same problem and brought the phone to a Verizonwireless store. They replaced it under warranty and did not give us much of a hassle. My guess is that it is a common problem. (On a side note, if you take the battery off the sticker shows a field called H/W Rev. The old phone was 1.0 and the new one is 1.1 which further suggests that they have made hardware changes to solve this problem.)
