I got a Toshiba e355 pocket pc, and was wondering what steps I need to access internet on there. I was looking at the Bluetooth technology, since I just got a Bluetooth cell phone, a Sony Ericcson T616 phone, but the card is like $120 on the Toshiba website. Is there any other way I can access internet or any other card besides a Toshiba Secure Digital card? PLEASE INCLUDE ANY STEPS OR ISP'S AVAILABLE TO ACCESS INTERNET. I do not know what steps I need to take as I am very confused on how to access internet on a pocket pc.

Re:
If your cellphone supplier won't demo it, then it's best to say it's not going to work.
Instead, the outlook is that WiFi hotspots will be the way to go since you won't get soaked on cell charges.

Hi. Actually, on pocket pcs there's a backup battery onboard, but in your case maybe backup battery is dead. So you can have that changed or you can charge your PDA on regular basis. Hope this helps.
Please note that when you want to use pocket (IE) browser of your PPC (pocket PC) phone; you need to ensure GPRS setting has been made in your phone.
For GPRS setting (Example: Airtel India network) please do the following steps.
Start --> settings --> Connections(tab) --> Connections(icon) --> under My ISP tap on "Add a new modem connection" --> enter connection name: airtel --> select a modem: Cellular Line (GPRS) --> access point name: airtelgprs.com --> leave blank on username, password & domain --> Finish.
If you are using different network (sim card) then you need to get "access point name" information from them.
"Certain Pocket PC Models have SD or SDIO slots but are not compatible with the SDIO WLAN Card. These include: Toshiba e350 and e750 – these have SDIO slots but do not have SDIO Now! software from BSQUARE. The e355 is the same as the e350.
As far as I know there is possibility to use Compact flash but no SD. I also know that you can find a lot of solutions that use USB or Bluetooth connection for GPS.
I don't have a PDA, but I'm working much with Bluetooth in my Toshiba Notebook. So I found a interesting link from Toshiba about Bluetooth. Perhaps it helps you!
