You will need book to set codes or search (google) for your uni remote codes for what device you are trying to work. The main thing to remember is to switch modes when wanting to work something. Like press tv mode button when using tv or dvd mode when dvd is being used, etc.
Unplug the unit allow it to sit for a secound, then plug it back in. Try your eject button again on the remote and the TV if there is any. If this does not eject after power cycling the TV. My recommendations are if you just bought it take it back.
you have to use the remote and hit the input button , look at the back of the tv where you plugged the cables in, it will tell you what input it is plugged into, chang your input to that one on the tv- using the input button
I have this tv too. I just bought a remote control with a 'learn' function, (from a pound shop), You use the Tv's remote and copy the button functions onto the new remote, It works great, actually better than origional remote, also functions other equiptment too, sky, freeview, dvd, etc. Try that instead.
