PocketPC e570, Is there an opportunity to set it back to factory default?

Go into the restore menu by pressing "F8" when your computer starts and select the repair or restore option. You will then be given the opportunity to restore to factory settings. (default).

There are two ways to do it. You can either update the firmware and it will erase everything for you, or you can do a factory reset, and return to factory settings. Go to Settings, PDN settings (not the Android settings menu) and scroll right to the Reset Defaults location. Tap on the reset button and you will be taken back to factory default settings. It might take a while to reload, but after everything it will be back to factory defaults from when you first bought it. Updating the firmware might be your best option if you care to resell it, because it may cause less issues for the next person and less chance of any returns.

Hi, unfortunately, when you changed the formatting to (Shrink); this changes the Original settings from the Factory settings. You may need to make a copy using the factory / default setting firsts; then change the settings to shrink formatting, making a separate copy to CD. Thanks paul7of9

I would reset the cmos battery. Go into bios and set all settings back to "default".
The cmos is the round watch like battery on the motherboard. Be careful not to touch anything else if your not familiar with this procedure. Take it out for about 3 min. Then restart your pc and hold down the delete key (may be another key). Once in bios screen I think it's F5 or F6, please read screen carefully to be sure which is the "load default" setting.
This will at least put the pc back to factory default settings free of any users settings.

If you reset the network card on the 8008 back to factory defaults it will reset the web password back to 'sysadm'
To reset factory defaults power the pritner on holding down CLEAR, keep CLEAR held down whilst you power the printer ON, keep the clear button held down untill you see RESETT on the display.

Resetting factory defaults will reset all network settings EXCEPT - IP, Sub net and Gateway address

Samsung e570 doesnt have the ability to change message tone from the defaults

You cant lock the keypad of an sgh e570 it is locked as soon as you close the flip on the phone
