Inside the unit on the left side of the evaporator coil there should be a channel that allows the water to drain to the outside of the unit and cool the condenser coil use compressed air to clean this channel (a.k.a. keyboard cleaner) were safty glasses and make sure unit is unplugged then check drain to make sure it is clear before running the unit.

Problem with Haier CPN10XC9 Portable Air Conditioner: water accumulates around bottom of filter area

Samsung E163 EEPROM option error? Program the right option codes!! In my case the complete airconditioning installation (3 x indoor and 1 x outdoor unit) didn't work because the E163 code was showed on one of the indoor unit. After I followed the procedure (remove batt from remote control, put them in again holding down the right knobs, etc see the manuals you can find on the internet) I programmed the right codes within 5 minutes and the problem was fixed, the error code was gone and the complete installation was working again. So don't replace boards, electronics etc....just put in de right option codes. John, Netherlands.

I've had the refregerator for 10 months.. All of a sudden water is appearing on the floor next to the refrigerator. Where could it be leaking from?

Pull it forward and seei if the drain pan is either overflowing or empty. If it,s empty, check the drain isn't blocked, causing meltwater to leak from inside. If it's overflowing, check the door seals properly and the defrost settings are ok.

We've had two of thee units for a couple weeks now. Then suddenly they started leaking a LOT of water. How do we fix this problem asap?!

If you haven't been draining the water collection tanks regularly, that could be the problem. With that said, the units should shut down automatically, when the tanks are full. If they are not doing that, the water tank full sensors are faulty. The drain plug is on the rear of the unit, just above floor level. To drain it, place a low sided pan or bowl capable of holding 1 quart water, under the drain plug. Unscrew the plug and allow it to drain in the pan. Or disconnect the unit and roll it to a floor drain or outdoors and drain it/them.

In addition, check the exhaust hose(s) for obstruction r drooping to much. Either will trap moisture that should be exhausting out the window.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Water leaking from beneath unit. Some water enter buckets some leaking onto floor. Can't use the unit it leaks so much.

Look for the drain tube which sends the water to the buckets. It may be disconnected or misaligned allowing the water to go the wrong way. The tube can also be stopped up. Blow through it to clear.

My unit is leaking tons of water only when a/c is on for a while. It leaks out of base and I have to drain tank every day. Help!!!

It is supposed to "leak" water into it's reservoir and it needs to be dumped when it gets full. That water is the humidity that the a/c is pulling form the air inside your home. As long as it's going into the reservoir and not leaking onto your floor then it is working properly.

Hello! I'm having some difficulty finding the drainage on this specific model. It's in my husband and I's bedroom....for the last two mornings we have found a puddle on the floor in front of...

Water leakages out the front are usually attributed to poor drainage. IE , the wall unit is not sloping slightly to the rear, or in the case of a split system, the drain hose is not directed down and away from inside. I would suggets checking the filters first. If the filters are blocked, and the cooling is set really low, its possible for the coil to start freezing and thus, leak water out the front. If the filters are clean and the coil is still freezing, you may have a gas shortage . Eventually when the gas runs out, the water leak will stop and the unit wont cool at all. If the system is working properly, on cooling mode, there should be cold air inside and the unit should be blowing hot air outside. If on heating mode, the reverse happens...

Antifrize leak from frount bottom of engine

Since you didn't mention what make or model vehicle it is.. I can only assume from the location of the leak, that it's the water pump or possibly the lower radiator hose. But, I'm betting on the water pump.

Leaking

Please check the water container for leaks. Normally,
it does not leak, since the water is supposed to evapo-
rate due to compressor heat. The water that the aircon produces goes to a containing pond near the compressor. So that if there is a leak, it emanate from
this area. May this tip help you.
