I did it by turning the phone off. then hold the voliume down button for 5 seconds then when the sony sign poped up keep tapping the back button for 8 seconds.
then just start tapping all buttons exept the power buttions at once for 5 seconds. then hold them all down. not the power button. untill the phone comes on.

SOURCE: how to turn on chinese writing for sony ericsson

You need to make sure you have chinese input method installed. You may check this in the settings-> Applications -> Manage applications or setings->Language & keyboard. If not, you can find and install one from the Android Marketplace. One of the good one could be the Google pinyin. Also, the fashion Swype input method also supports chinese input as a beta function, but you have to root your phone to install this. After this, you can check the setings->Language & keyboard to enable and setup the input method of your choice.

It depends on the IMEI of the phone and hence safe if you get it directly from a reputed unlock service provider. I suggest you can approach Mobileunlocksolutions.com and specify the country, locked network of Sony Ericsson Xperia X8.Based on the availability you can get the permanent unlock service and for free instructions visit Mobileunlockguide.com

Shuffle wont turn off

If this is the way to put the Xperia into shuffle mode, then tapping the last icon again (the one with two arrows) should turn shuffle off. Try it!

How to turn off shuffle

According to pages 76-79 of the Xperia X8 manual, you should be able to disable shuffle by tapping the icon within the music player that looks like criss-crossed right-facing arrows (see pic below).

Hi.

You will need to hard reset the phone.

  1. Turn the power off. If your Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
  2. Hold the Left and right buttons located beneath the display
  3. Press and release the Power button
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to hard reset your Xperia X8
All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.
