I have a used headset for my ps3 and i cant get it in the sync mode. I dont know if its the one that blinks red and blue or the one you have to have a solid blue light.its a item no. 8860 and has R63508S1C FCC ID isVPH8860 ive held it for 3 sec 5 sec 8 sec 10 sec and a minute i tried all of them each time before hitting the scan on the ps3

I had the same problem instead of (like the instructions say) turning the headset on then holding the power button, turn the headset on and keep hold of the power button until the led light shines blue without flashing. Hope this helps

The steps below will show you how to put your Voyager 510 into pairing mode.

To put the headset into pairing mode:
1 - Start with the headset powered on (the headset will have a blue blinking light).
2 - Press in and hold the + side of the volume button (long, thin and silver) and the Call Control Button (on the
microphone boom, oval shaped) until the headset flashes red, blue, red, blue.
3 - Tell your phone to "Find the new Bluetooth device" (see the User Guide or call a local phone store).
4 - If the phone asks for a User Code or passkey, enter 0000 (four zeros).

my problem is the mic wont syncronize and wont respond to my voice and i cant hear other people through it .it still flashes blue and charges fine

did you try to hold down the power button on your headset until it blinks and then try to sync to the ps3 again. You have to put he headset into sync mode before attempting to put the ps3 into sync mode

Start with your headset turned off. Press the talk button on the headset. Hold it until you see the light on the headset begin to rapidly blink red, blue, red, blue, red, blue, etc. Let go, the light should continue to blink red and blue. Go into your phones blue tooth menu and search for the headset. The phone will only find the headset if the headset is in pairing mode (blinking red and blue). The pass key is 0000.

ok here u go first turn on the bluetooth func in ur PS3, now while ur bluetooth headset is off press the power centre big button for like 10 sec until the blue light stays on continously not blinking position ok then search for bluetooth devices in the ps3 bluetooth config ur headset will come up like motorola h550 select it then it will ask u for pairing code input 0000 and press ok ur device is now connected u will see the blue light which was continous b4 now blinking it means ur haedset is connected , u have to complete this process in almost 1 min bcoz there is a timeout for this process , now try any sound u will hear it in ur headset

Do not use the power button to sync.
To sync device, Press + button (volume) and Silver button (on boom) at simultaneously. LED Light will blink RED & BLUE. Device ID should appear on your screen.
sometimes it is tricky and you do have to turn on the power
so try it both ways and if the power is on hold the 2 buttons for about 30 seconds to 1 minute if the light stays blue turn off and try again they are not easy to sync the code for pairing if they ask you for 1 is 0000
