We recently had a user that dropped and broke his toshiba e400. He threw away all manuals, software, cords, etc.
He purchased another brand of pda. The problem is that we have a backup copy of his addresses from the toshiba. We cannot open it because we do not have the software. Is there anyone out there that knows where we can download or purchase this software?

On Toshiba site there you can find some drivers and updates but if you need “Windows Mobile 2003 OS” for your PDA you should contact Service partner in your country and I am sure that they can help you.

I have bought the Bluetooth Option Part for my e400. It was an "PC Bluetooth SD Card2".
In the specs of the Bluetooth Card is an SD/IO enabled SD Slot required for the Card.
So I think your Wifi will also work.
Do you use companion CD for Active sync installation? Can you please tell me which driver is necessary to have? Is there any error message and what is content of this message?
It can also be that Active Sync is already installed! Please check at Add and remove Software in Control panel!
Otherwise go to www.microsoft.com and download a current version of active sync
In my opinion you can just believe what the software or hardware producer said. If they can ensure the customers that it will work with PDA than you must believe in this statement.
As far as I know PDA producer support just stuff delivered with PDA. There is no support for additional software or hardware.
I have also found out that this cable will work just with e400 and e800 models. If there is no specification that says that this cable can be used with your PDA it will be a risk to buy it.
