AJ driver is correct. You will need an amp to test out the speakers and make sure that they are functional. I would reccomend looking at local pawn shops for a cheaper, used amp -- this way you don't have to spend too much money. Also, look the speakers up online and make sure that you buy the proper speaker cables for them to assure the best clarity.

check out audiobahn.com and click on the tech support. then you while see some diagrams for subs, for different ways check it out it helped me out with my aw1508x being pushed by two a2300hcx

I just installed my 10 inch square pyle sub and its hooked up to the dub amplifier..the amplifier is in safe mode and the subs woint hit..what do i do to fix this?

ok if the amp was in safe mode before the sub was hooked up then the amp needs to be fix , make shor the suds are hooked up right an the wires arent touching , the amp is in pro mode so there for u have to find out more on why the amp is not working or let me know what is goin on with it ,

Power protection light stays on blue,i hooked up a fosgate 10'' woofer to one side and i get nothing? i dont get enough out of this thing to push 6'' mids what can ido?

you have your speakers hooked up inproperly the amp is going into protection because you are presenting it an ohm load lower than it is able to operate at... go to www.the12volt.com and go to the subwoofer wiring diagram section and you can go over your options...

i dnt knowwat type of speaks u got but ifits low then it cud be tht u have too open up the second coil on ur speakers...dnt sound like the amp since its on & not in protect mode,other than tht i'll recheck the wiring

there are many ways to wire in subwoofers check the impeadance on the sub and the stability of amp by referring to the users manuals. once you know the ohms you can check 12volt.com for wiring or give more information on your question and i will do my best to resolve it.

well to check if the amp is working hook up the ground to the battey and on the positive hook that up to the battery and jump the positive wire to the remote wire slot hook up it should spark the amp should turn on or run the power srtight on the remote slot
