For that you need to set yahoomail as home page in mozila firefox.
Open mozila firefox and then go to tools ->option.
Then you can see Home page enter there "ymail.com" without "" then apply and ok.
Then when you start mozila you can see yahoo mail sites.

Hi, first use the the driver disc that came with the laptop and install all the drivers. Once everything is installed and laptop rebooted ( may have to reboot a few times ). If wireless you can then try to connect but you will need to know your SSID and password for the router to make a connection. If you cannot connect wirelessly then - LAN cable is what should be used first.
