It is hellishly hot outside these days, something close to 40. I bought a 6000 Haier at Best Buy and wanted it to lower room temperature to 25 Celsius. Vain hope: working non-stop day and night at high speed, it does not step below 28 grades. Is there any boost? Lateral question: what do left and right lateral diffusers which extend well outside: **** in the tropical air or supplement the ventilation of inside hot air emission? Thanks.

Uberhaus Portable AC unit is blowing cold air but room stay hot.

That unit is only good for 30-350 sq feet, May be less depending on is the room has an east or west orientation., is the room well insulated, is the door closed on room being cooled> My inclination on is that the unit is too small, it cannot cool a room of door is left open, if the window's do not darkening curtains or shades, if the outside temp is very hot. If unit is new I would return it for another one. I have installed this type unit and I felt it left a lot be desired.. Give me your room dimensions and I can calculate and give you size of room.

WILL ONLY BLOW COOL AIR.ALSO SHOULD FAN OUTSIDE BE TURNING ALL THE TIME WHEN IN USE

It is important to set a normal temperature on the AC as a lower setting will make the outside unit to keep working so as to get to the lower temperature. So unless the temperature is reached it will not cut off.
Ideally choose a ramge of 25-27 *C for the room as the normal room temp ideal for humans is 28*C.

Purchased second-hand and need a operating manual. Where do I find them on internet? Also, the only way to lower the temp. is with a remote control. Each time I press the down arrow to lower the temp,...

The model you have has been discontinued. However, if you call Haier Customer Support
1-877-337-3639. They should be able to provide you with an Owner's Manual via email attachment.

Hope this helps you.

Cool air coming from the vents in the front but hot air coming from the back. What do I do to stop the hot air so that the room will cool down?

Hi,
The hot air is a product of the cooling.... if you stop that then the unit will not cool!!!
You need to buy an exhaust kit to vent the hot air outside so that it will cool the room.
Otherwise it is just what is called a spot cooler or in other words you are cool if you sit in front of it, but it actually will make the overall room temp. hotter!!

My side side frige is warm to the touch in the middle

Getting warm around the door is OK but getting hot around door indicates a restriction of the airflow below your refrigerator. The compressor produces hot Freon that is pumped out the discharge side of compressor. On many refrigerators the gas goes to the yoder Condenser Loop first and then cooled by the condenser fan motor before going to the freezer section as a liquid.

sea_breeze_206.jpg

Anything restricting that airflow will cause the yoder loop to get hotter. Example a defective condenser fan, dusty conditions below refrigerator or room temperatures way above normal for a kitchen or room inside your home. Insure fan stays on when compressor runs because a defective condenser fan does not always stop when defective. Most refrigerators work best with room temperatures in mid 70's to middle 80's. Making sure that airflow is good, fan's stay on with compressor and room temperatures stay in the normal range is important to keep those temperatures lower in the yoder loop. Hi.. we'll feel cold after taking bath from? 1. cold water 2 water at 40 c 4 water at room tempreature 3 water at 50c

"we'll feel cold after taking bath from?"
(Let's assume room temperature of the bathroom is 25 c.)

1. cold water
Assuming cold water means below room temperature, for example, 22 c. One taking a bath in water at this temperature would probably feel cold DURING his bath at least at first. However, a cold bath would tend to bring blood to the capillaries under your skin and create a warming sensation. But after you get of the bath tub, you would definitely feel cold unless the room were heated!

3) water at 50c
Most folks would feel quite hot while in the water at this temperature. And after exiting the tub, since the layer of water on his skin would probably still be well above body temperature (37 c), a chill would not set in until the water on his skin cooled down to below body temperature. So if he quickly dried off, he would avoid feeling cold.

2 water at 40 c
While almost completely immersed in the bath water, one would certainly feel warm unless there were a draft in the room, because 40 c is 3 degrees above normal body temperature. For the same reason as stated above (#3), he could escape feeling cold outside the tub if he dried off quickly.

4) water at room temperature
- If I had to select only answer, I would choose this condition that would make one feel cold after stepping out of the bath tub, because:

Upon exiting the tub of water at room temperature, one would certainly feel cold if there were a draft in the room. Even if there were no draft, one would still feel cold, because the water on his skin would be cooler than his body heat (37 c), and cause a finite evaporation of the thin layer of water on his skin, which is a cooling process. The skin's heat would be lost, because its energy would be used to evaporate the water.

Cannot get freezer temperature lower than 40

First verify the thermometer goes below 40 THEN: Check to make sure the defrost heater went off. If there is a light in the freezer make sure it is not staying on when the door is closed. If all these are normal it is time to replace the dinosaur.. it has served you well.... I have seen 40 year old units working fine in the basement and then moving them upstairs or to another home and they do not work again. Eric

Haier room air conditioner doesn't cool maximally at "Hi AC"

You should have at least 5,500 BTU's for that size room. Clean the filter. Turn it on and let it work for a few hours.

Ist ik for capacitors to be expose on heat inside my room when i am out because all the windows are close? the heat is about 40 to 45 degrees celcious.

Most capacitors are designed to have an effective heat usage range before they start to change capacitance values. They will normally run in an environment of below 32F to 120F without any variation in the capacitence rating of the capacitor. Beyond these points the capacity may start changing.
