How do I Sync Outlook from my Desktop Computer to my Apple IPAD?

To sync e-mails to your iPad, you must put the e-mail account details directly into the mail app. This is because Outlook is merely an application to download and read e-mails.
To add an e-mail account to your iPad:

1. Tap the Mail icon at the bottom of the home screen on iPad.

Step 2. Then tap to add type of email account that you want at add among: Microsoft Exchange, Mobile me, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL or others. For example, if you want to add a Yahoo mail, just tap the Yahoo mail as follows:

Step 3. Then enter login details for selected email account type.

Configure ms outlook 2007 to access my office mail it shows my inbox mail but dont shows my outbox mail or sent item & also contact list .Before outlook configure i access my outlook through web mail ....

ahhhh ok you want to access your Sent mail folder and contacts which you used when you used Outlook Web Access(OWA) "outlook through web mail" to connect to your Office Exchange mail server

in order to get this you have to configure Outlook 2007 to connect to exchange server. Do the following steps
  1. if you are running outlook close it as you can not configure exchange accounts when it is running
  2. if you are running vista, xp or 7 click on the start menu and right click on email and go to properties
  3. click on email accounts
  4. select "view or change existing accounts" click next
  5. click on any of the previously configured accounts and remove them
  6. click add
  7. select microsoft exchange server click next
  8. type name of the exchange server (you must get this from your administrator) and type in your username (name which you used to use through web mail) click on next
  9. click on finish
  10. open outlook 2007 and you should see all your previous contacts and sent items
hope this helps

Window Vista syncronizing with iPAQ 3835 problem

In order to sync any iPAQ with Windows Vista, you will need to download and install Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/microsoft/device-center-download.mspx.

Activesync will only work for XP Operating Systems and earlier.
Notes
  • To find out whether your version of Windows Vista or Windows 7 is 32-bit or 64-bit, click Start, right-click Computer, and then click Properties. The version is listed after System Type.
  • You can use Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 only with phones running Windows Mobile 2003 or later. ActiveSync and Windows Mobile Device Center won’t work with Windows Embedded CE 4.2 or 5.0, Pocket PC 2002, or Smartphone 2002 devices. (To see which Windows Mobile operating system you’re using, and if your phone doesn’t have a touch screen, click Start > Settings > About. If your phone has a touch screen, click Start > Settings > System tab > About.) To sync content to any of these devices, you must use a USB or serial cable and your computer’s Internet connection and File Explorer.
  • You must use Microsoft Outlook 2002, Outlook 2003, or Office Outlook 2007 to sync your e-mail, contacts, tasks, and notes from your computer.
  • You must use a USB cable to connect your phone to your computer the first time you use Windows Mobile Device Center to sync.

Non receipt of some emails sent from a colleague in Australia.

Hello,
Check to make sure that your spam filter or junk e-mail box is not intercepting your missing messages. There are times when certain keywords in subject lines are earmarked as junk mail or spam simply because spammers happen to be using these same words.
Also, be sure that you are not downloading mail from any other source other than your single computer. If so, be sure that the other machine or device is not downloading and then deleting your messages.
Another possibility to check is to make sure no one else is downloading your e-mail. To be sure of this, change your password.
And lastly, there is always the chance that the messages are not being sent correctly. Several cases come to mind...I had a client who mentioned a similar problem that seemed to have sprung up overnight. In the end, the culprit ended up being the sender's auto-fill function was auto-filling a similar name, but incorrect e-mail address. Hence, it appeared that the sender was sending to the correct person, but since he did not check the actual outgoing e-mail address, some of the messages did not go out. They got sent to a third party.
Anyway, hope this helps! If so, please take a moment to give this response a positive rating. Thanks!
