Hello,

This skipping could be caused by a roller not turning causing the paper to be forced to much into the thermal.

Repair is quite difficult the unit would need to be taken apart and the feeder investigated. You could put some machine lube on the roller part, but its quite involved.

Another reason could be the module inside not working correctly causing it to print like it is.

If you update me with additional info I could be more of a help to you.

Regards,

Can Cymo lables be used in the Smart Label Printer 100

If you mean Dymo labels and if the Dymo labels have a black rectangle on the reverse and if the labels aren't to wide, then the labels should work. You may run into problems with the Label printer advancing too far after printing; unfortunately, you will have to manually re-align the label after printing

Datamax I-4208 not printing allocated amount of labels

Eventually you HAVE to give the printer a break, during inventory times at work, we have to print 50K+ labels, and in order to prevent either serial number skipping or other issues, I print in 250 batches, yes; there is a time gap but it's better than to restart a series of prints because a few numbers were skipped. Try printing 200 and 200 sets to prevent errors or skips.

MY TLP2844 SKIPPING LABELS HOW CAN I FIX IT

try feeding just one label the 2 or 3.
if the printer feeds fine, check the format.
there is an unprintable area top and bottom of the label to reflect tolerances on the printer.
I usually like to keep the format 1/8" top and bottom spacing.
If you software, check that you do not have the printing too close to the edge.
