Chances are the LCD screen has failed and would have to be replaced. (ive seen this screen problem when it goes to white or black marks when cracked)
you basically would have 3 options,
1: send it out for repairs to Nikon? ( see if it is still in warranty or may cost close to what you paid)
2: Buy a used or new LCD on an auction site (if your gadget savvy and you can replace yourself) avg price 50-75?
3: sell your camera on an auction site to use funds to purchase another camera
