Sync Files in Memory Card

I want to know if someone can help me on this... I want to sync files between my PC an my Ipaq rxseries but I don't want to have the files in memory instead I want them in my memory card. Is there a way that in each sync action the files go directly to the memory card instead of the main memory??????? Thanks

HP Ipaq h1940 won't sync with Vista

Hi. While holding power button, and pressing reset will do a hard reset to your PDA (reset the device to its factory default settings). So if your PDA is working well, don't do it. As for the syncronization with your Vista PC; Winodws XP uses the ActiveSync software for syncronization, and for Windows Vista, Microsoft developed a brand new syncronization software called "Windows Mobile Device Center". It can be downloaded here: (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/device-center-download.mspx). When you download/install this software to your PC, you should be able to connect your PDA to your PC without any problem, and definitely without changing any OS in your PDA or PC. Hope this helps.

Ipaq stuck on blue and white screen

Not sure about the memory card way, active sync didn't work on mine either and from what I read it won't but my machine automatically sync'd on starting the sp29841 application file I downloaded from the HP site (the sync can take a while). Active sync didn't start to work again until it was restored through that (up to that the PC didn't recognise the ipaq as connected either). Hope you get it sorted.

Help with syncing!

Do you have Activesync installed? What is it doing? Do you have the appropriate boxes checked in Activesync to sync files -- if that is what you really want to do?? Can you copy and paste files from the PC to your "Mobile Device" in Windows Explorer on the PC?

H5555 sync problem

When you attach your ipaq, you should be able to go into My Computer and view the ipaq as a removable storage device, seeing the actual files and folders located on your ipaq. I would attempt to transfer the files via copy and past if Activesync cannot do it. If that solves the problem then its simply that Activesync is encountering some sort of memory overflow, if it still cannot sync then there is a problem with transfer protocol its using.

Storage Memory

memory card isn't really memory it's more like a disk drive. it's not like when you add memory to a PC and the new memory is automatically used. To make use of this card you need to transfer some of your larger files to the card.... You can move files from within the ipaq... Click and hold on file. Select Copy Click and hold Select Cut Navigate with File Explorer to the SD card.... Open File Explorer Select My device Now select SD Card You can create a new folder or select an existing folder Click on Edit at bottom of screeen. Select Paste. You can also move files directly from PC to Storage card...... While IPAQ is connected, go to My Computer, then double-click on Mobile Device, then double-click on Pocket PC. Now you will see your Storage Card, and you can use this just like a folder on your PC. You can create folders within it. You can click and drag files to it or to any of it's folders.
