Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet
Apple included an option to restrict access to your iPod
through the creation of a PIN code to lock the screen and to keep unwanted
users. Unfortunately forgot your password, not being able to access your music
when you're on. If you draw a blank password, you can reset it, but not before
you get home to your computer. Use your iPod to your iTunes software to reset
the security code.
1. Connect your iPod. Enter the password appears.
2. Connect the iPod to the computer you normally sync.
3. Run iTunes and wait for the iPod name appears in the left
pane of the iTunes window.
4. Click the "Eject" icon next to the iPod name in
the left pane. The device is unlocked.
5. Select "Extras" iPod.
6. Open the "Lock Screen" option.
7. Select "Turn off Screen Lock" Lock Screen menu.
