How do i transfer photos from my HTC Desire cell phone to my computer

after plugging in the phone to your pc use the option of "mount as disk drive" then open my computer and open the new drive found then open a folder named "DCIM", you should find your photos in a folder named "100MEDIA"

connect your htc with computer via usb cable and use the application to transfer data from htc to computer

To transfer files from your computer to your phone's storage card, you need to set the phone's storage card as a USB drive. Connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable, and open the Notifications panel. Tap USB connected and then tap Mount, the phone will appear as an external USB drive in your computer.

Together with the phone there is allways a USB-cable included in the box. Just plug this in to the phone and the other end into your computers USB-port. This should make your phone appear on your computer screen, and from there it is very easy to transfer the photos. If you have lost your USB-cable you can allways buy one at your local electronics store, e.g Best Buy.

There is no PC Suite for HTC Desire.

Use the tranfer cable to connect , detect , view the files and copy the images.
Also activate the bluetooth to be accepted by the PC and images can be sent from the phone.

Connect your HTC Desire to your laptop. Select "Disk Drive" on the popup on your phone. Then use your laptop to search for the pictures.

P.S. On a HTC Wildfire, pictures taken are found at F:\dcim\100MEDIA (the drive letter may vary).

Use the cable for the charger, a usb cable. Connect the phone to the computer. Go to my computer, and the phone will appear as an hard drive, when you unlock the phone. Look around for a file called DCIM or music, documents.

You just need windows mobile device center on the computer. Then connect with either bluetooth or usb cable.

Thats It. you can then move files from the computer to the desire or vice versa.
