I have had this set for three years and it's been terrific, no problems.
Recently, however, when the set is turned on, the green light lights up, the separate AVC box is on, but no picture until 5-10 minutes go by. Nothing will show up on the screen, menu, what inputs are available, etc. until it "warms up".
Connected to Comcast cable box, 5.1 surround receiver and these work well. All channels and sound come through cleanly on the external speakers, so it's something with the TV.
Alas, it sounds like something could be quite wrong, or it could be as simple as needing a reset. Unplug the unit, wait a minute then replug it and see what happens.

The problem is a vertical deflection issue, it means the picture from top to bottom has collapsed. The set will require two or three capacitors and an ic and it is quite fixable.
The "D board" is the flyback transformer, but if it was bad, you would have no picture at all. Here is a proven method to get it to work (for a while....)
The adjustment method is to put the set on a video input with nothing conected to that input. Turn the screen control up slowly until those fine lines appear and then down until they just disappear. Do this with all three colors. You might need to turn one of them down a little initially if the set won't stay on long enough to get to adjustments. You cannot do the adjustment on a TV station or on live video input. If the adjustments are too high, the set will turn bright and shutdown. If they are too low you will never get a picture at all.
You would want to touchup the adjustments after a warmup of a few hours, then recheck the next day when cold.
If the adjustments are successfull and the set stays on but the color reproduction is very poor then one of the tubes is probably bad.
If you are lucky and everything turns out OK, you will probably need to do it every year or so.
Hello sir;Would you let the machine running until it stop( it will stop) if after it stop with the red triangle simple show out the mean the machine toner motor defect, please let me know the resolve.
Hi. I would suggest checking out the door switches. There are usually 3. If one of those has failed then the microwave won't operate because of safety reasons. Best to replace all three. If the display on the unit is still fully operational I'd say go for the repair.
the three error code indicates that the Convergence ICs have failed, You will need to replace both STK392-110 ICs and possibly a couple of the 2.2 ohm 2watt resistors. You can get replacement ICs and resistors at the following link and they provide free installation instructions with pictures so you can do the repair yourself. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
please verify with other image(pic) from elsewhere.....than that of your source..just to verify that its the printer itself......print a pic from web....
not sure i laid over a lcd for a couple mintues. that belong to my comapny, once i stood it back up the screen was cracked. i like to have fell over, the replacement part is 12266.00 i guess your out of luck. as i am.
After 3 years, I finally decided to open up the TV and do some troubleshooting. Found out the problem, It was a blown capacitor Location C554 Capacitor value is 2200uF 16V - costs about a dollar to replace yourself and the TV works brand new.
On Sony TV's they monitor the current drain on all three electron guns Red Green and Blue. Until all are somewhat equal it will keep the CRT blank. As the set ages it means that it might flash a few times until the cathodes are good and warmed up.
