Intel Create and Share Camera Serial Number

I just got a new pc and decided to intall my Intel create and share camera on it. It is the best camera I ever had and I know it is old. I have the cd, but must have thrown the sleeve out as I keep all my discs in one cd holder. Now on set up, I am being asked for the Serial number which would have been written on the back of the sleeve. Is there any way around this or can I get the software from somewhere else?

    I have the serial number and still can't get it to work.

    Try 5097CMOD01346.



    Anyone know how to install the programs on that CD without using the installer? I want to use Kai's Power Goo, but the installer is complaining about missing modem drivers...

1st You download Webcam Driver. Intel Cam Driver Free After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
  • Go to the control panel
  • Click on the System Icon
  • Click on the Hardware Tab
  • Click on the Device Manager then
  • Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
  • Right click on it and uninstall it.
  • After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
  • Driver installation Wizard start.
  • Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
  • Driver will be install.

Copy this site http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/find-my-serial-number/

and paste it in your ADDRESS BAR and hit ENTER.
When the window opens it will tell you where to look.. It should have been on the box that the camera came in.

My PC with XP professional will not download Intel create and share camera pack. Is there and update for XP professional?
If you open Windows Explorer and click on Tools then go down and click on Windows Update your machine should bring itself up to speed.

When you are trying to download the software is there a yellow banner in the top of the screen just below the button ? if so you must click on the area and say yes to allow the download to take place

What Anti-Virus program are you using if it is Norton or McAfee they may be blocking downloads

The use of Zone Alarm Firewall can block certain items

and select your operating system 9Windows 98, ME, XP, or Vista) and then download your drivers.
Then
Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Then to use it on the Web, do this.
Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.
A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/ ) set it up as follows:
  1. Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  2. Then click on the Video Settings.
  3. The camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
  4. Then, on the bottom of the page click on Save.
The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and her to you.

CS110 to use on XP
To the best of my knowledge, Intel has not released an upgraded driver for create and share for windows XP sp2, and will not be doing so in the future, without an upgraded driver it won't work.
