Whenever a LCD screen has been damaged, it's not going to be cost effective to repair. The part will cost you nearly what the replacement cost of a new T.V.. Sell the good parts that are inside your T.V. on Ebay.
The main problem is with the integrated chip inside the ps3 also called the m7 chip may be not working properly or might be burned . what you have to do is to change its chip and also the controller ports.they must be damaged due to the non proper voltage supply. it shows time because the graphic card can handle the low graphic. if your ps3 is in warranty then go to the Sony service center or fixing it would or may be costly.
Ur tv LCD Screen is Damage, can't not repair burn in problem.Only way to replaced the whole LCD screen.
Tv compannies don't sell out only LCD Screen, they only sell out as with new tv only.Live with the burn in,or save the tv as part for the new one same model u buy.
That would be your transformer popping and dieing. Usually the popping is followed by a burning smell which is a good indicator that the part is unrecoverable. The cost of the part is variable based on the make and model TV and is usually not too labor intensive to replace. If not under warranty, let the repair gut know that you know what the problem is. Then, ask them to quote the cost of the replacement part and part number. Then ask them to quote you their hourly rate and get a time estimate. Then, google the part number and see if the cost is reasonable.
It is not cost prohibitive to repair time for a new TV I am afraid I can not give you an exact quote but a 32' Philips screen is 1100 dollars. Thats 200 more than I paid for the TV
