Black screen sound ok

I was watching tv tuesday night and I turned
the tv off to eat dinner. After eating I returned and
turned on the tv. The red light went out and the
green light came on, after a few seconds the sound
came on but the screen was completely black. I
tried everything but nothing i did worked.I suspect
that the power that going to the screen is not getting
there, I also suspect the problem is in the circuit board
that the power in jack is connected to. If this board has
to be replaced, what is the cost of this board?

I don't know what model you have,but... I have a 50v715 and it was doing the same thing and it turned out to be the lamp. So if you have not replaced the lamp in a while then it could just be it time. Hope this is helpful.

KP-53s35 with xbox 360

No problem at all, with one precaution, if you have to pause the game for more than 30 seconds SHUT THE TV OFF.Heres a good example, middle of a hard stage and it`s time for dinner, do the following : pause the xbox, turn tv off, go eat dinner, come back in & turn tv on, unpause xbox and life is good, don`t have to start the game over, no damage or harm to the tv. I do this to my 53" Hitachi everyday and I`m a tv tech with 29 years in the trade, enjoy the xbox on your big screen, BMW Rider
