Push in the door button. While pushing in the button, take a screwdriver and pry up on the door mechanism on the end of the door. Should unlock and allow the door to shut again.

not a hard job but the inside door panel needs to be removed. with the panel off you'll be able to see the linkage & reconnect it. there are small clips at the ends of the link rods to hold in place.

you could try giving the side of the washer a good hard slap? that some times jolts it into working,, but at the end of the day its a repair mans job to sort it out unless you realy wont to take the top off and pull on the cable to unlock the door>

Park rod inside transmission is probably broke on the end. Was a BAD problem for a few years.
