Question about Delta & Single Handle Shower Faucet

Bath faucet waterflow normal when we pull the thing for it to go to shower the pressure is not there--very low suddenly

If the faucet is new you will have a water saver disk in the shower head where the filter screen is locaded. It is removable. If the faucet has been around awhile the most likely problem is that the filter screen needs to be cleaned.

Is the hot water pressure good at other fixtures in the house? I'm guessing your newer valves have a scolding adjustment that is set very low. Check the instructions that came with the valve assembly.

We just installed a moen shower faucet. Water pressure is almost nil. It's a brand new house so debris and other things should not be a factor. When the faucet is removed the water pressure is back...
There's a clog in the shut off, line to faucet, or in the faucet cartridge ... hook it up to a supply tube on another faucet, it connect to a garden hose to check if faucet is problem.

The shower does not get hot so i took pressure balance unit apart and cleaned also took hot limit stop off .still not hot rest of sinks in house are hot and furnace right under shower,what do you think it...
When shower faucet apart make sure hot is getting 2 & coming out faucet ***. did you turn off stop integral w/ faucet or outgoing shut off valve on water heater.. May have rust or lime in small orifice leading to faucet ***. does your balancer/ piston move freely..good luck..

Low pressure in the shower
if the regular tub faucet has normal pressure, then carefully remove the shower head and soak it in de-limer and rinse in clear water before using again

No hot water pressure on kohler bath / shower faucet
Try draining the system and apply air pressure (min 30psi) to each faucet. Open other hot water faucets to allow pressure to vent. Next try draining and cleaning the hot water tank.

Kohler bath/shower diverter stem stuck on shower
Probably has water deposit minerals build up on it. Push and or pull with pliers until freely moves,soak in Lime away solvent ,toothbrush on.

Just installed shower and faucet in bath tub when you turn the water on the water comes out of the faucet and shower head. When you pull the lever for just the shower the water cuts off at faucet and comes...
Verify the height from the shower valve to the Shower head, the instructions specify the correct distance if it is too short the pressure could be getting up to the shower head.

Perhaps the water pressure it too high at the valve not allowing all the water down the faucet outlet, there are set screws on the sides of the shower valve to adjust the water allowed in the mixing chamber.

Something is restricting the water flow to the faucet, creating enough pressure to send some of the ater supply up to the shower.
