My solution would be to send it to microsoft if it's still under warranty.

When i turn on x box 360 the green center light appears but the four side lights to not ( no ring). I can open and close the disc on x box but nothing shows up on the tv.

Are your controllers connected to the xbox? that is how you get green light bars around your main green light bar. If you are not refuring to this and nuthing is showing up on your tv screen but you have sound try ajusting/ spinning around the yellow av cord ( Yellow cord is what projects pictures onto screen) . Hope it helped. =]

My xbox 360 wont show a picture but it has sound

it might bea problem with your actual video cord that plugs into the tv.... umm my xbox has a lot of issues too but ive never had this. id suggest you let it say off for a while and try somebody elses cords that connect the xbox to the tv to see if its an issue with your xbox or if its with your cords. ill also suggest you call microsoft and they can troubleshoot...

please rate my solution :) thanks

Xbox 360 no picture but sound

Headed for 3 red lights or no video. It is the solder under the GPU.

Have sound no picture and 2 green rings around power button

They are green?!? usualy when people have problems with  the xbox 360 hardware, the lights turn red. This xbox 360 may have a birth defect... Best thing to do is call 1800-4my-xbox. Talk to a representative about sending your xbox in, ONLY if you have not voided the warranty. If so, you will most likely have to buy a new xbox or new motherboard for it.
Also try changing your video settings to tv instead of hd, or hd if it is plugged into a hd tv. You might have toggled the HD switch on the video/audio chords.

Xbox 360 problem

If you can still HEAR sound, but can't see. Check your Audio Video Cable.

It's the colorful one (red, white, yellow) (red, blue green, white, red)

Make sure the connections are secure into the back of the TV as well as the connection to the back of the Xbox 360.
