Who is the manufacturer of the dc470a motherboard? I recently found a HP Pavilion 505n desktop would i be able to but a Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz 800MHz 512KB Socket 478 CPU into it ? thank you for your time

If this machine is running XP, or earlier (98, 2000, ME, etc.), beware. It is no longer supported, and hackers will be looking for these machines to infect. I recommend you back up your data (pictures, documents, etc.) and get a newer machine, or don't try to get on the Internet with this one.

Mother board issue.

go to bios setup and change type of your disk drive from SATA to IDE and it will work fine

im sorry to say but it doesnt have sata ports

I'm going to think it will Not run a SATA Drive, however, it MAY have an open PATA drive slot. There is by default 1 open bay in this machine. Whether there is an open spot to plug the cable in on the motherboard and an extra Plug on the Power Supply for the drive, you will need to open the machine up for. The Connector for the Power Supply is a rectangular 4 Pin plug. This plug is typically black or white and will have 2 corners that are run at an angle. The Data Side of the Connection comes in the form of a Ribbon Cable. There should be 1 running to the hard Drive currently in the machine, but you will need to check and see if has an open slot. There are only ever 2 Slots total on a PATA cable.

You need to log onto your router and determine the WEP or WPA key being used. Your router manual has logon details. Also, the key is sometimes on the bottom of the router.

IF, your PC indeed supports TV out, then the Cable usually is SVGA or RCA, connectors. The PC must be configured to activate BOTH screens, ie: enable desktop, to be spanned or mirrored, , the Resolution on TV should only generally be set to 800x600. The correct Drivers must be installed. Must connect to TV before ya start PC too.
