Moving files I'm having trouble in moving my files around and still using it latter. Could any one help me please.

I'm guessing it's a move from PC to iPAQ and the conversion to pocket format is causing an issue... You can turn off the conversion in Activesync -- Options -- Rules...

My calculator was malfunctioning. It worked maybe 1 in 20 attempts. The 19 times it wasn't working there were random pixels filled in and they simply moved around if i pressed clear or used the arrows...

Try to clean the I/O port blow some air inside it should help if not need to replace the I/O port

Create a new file, then for each image you wan to add, go to the File menu and choose "Open as Layer". Then you will be able to move each layer around independently. For your text, go to the Layer menu, and then choose "New Layer". Then use the text tool and put your text in that new layer. To move layers, click on the icon in the tool panel that looks like a plus sign with arrows at each tip. You will click on that tool, then click on the layer you want to move in the layer palette, then click on the image and drag to move it.

Don't see a lot of linux questions around here. Do you have cs3 on a cd? If a download, do you have pre-compiled binary files or source files? If the latter, you will need to install developer library first. (apt-get install build-essential).

Cannot delete files from Maxtor Hard Drive on Mac

Hi Simon Is there a problem deleting or is it that you just don't know how to do it?
If it's the former you need to supply a bit more info. If it's the latter then it's very easy.
Highlight the file you want to delete, right-click and select move to trash (second item down).
This moves the file to the trash but doesn't delete it.
Next you can right-click on the trash icon in the dock and choose Empty trash or go to the finder menu and select empty trash from there. After that your files should have been deleted from the maxtor.
Simple eh?

The first disc stops downloading at 23% at a transfer file.

Are you downloading the game from the internet?
From the EA store or illegal?

One of the advantage of any Linux OS is its tough security. Im afraid you have to reprogram you machine so that you can use it, . and then maybe later you run a File Recovery software so that you can latter on recover your important files.

Having trouble loading music to sansa using instructions given

It should have come with a software, most mp3 players these days encrypt their files in such a way so that only the included software can install/copy/move any files on the mp3 player, i suggest looking through the packaging to find the installation CD or downloading the driver off the manafacturer's site.
