Is there a way to configure an hx 2415 to minimize battery drain? Can the card be turned on/off while installed?
Well, the standard tricks include: * always turn off WiFi and Bluetooth when not in use * turn down Backlight as much as you're comfortable with, and set it to turn off at a reasonable interval if nothing's happening * get a screen on/off toggle so you can turn the screen off if you''re listening to music. Actually, most of the audio software includes a screen toggle function; but you may want a general one in order to turn the screen off if you're recording, say. I'm sure other participants will chime in with more advice. If a card's in, it's on. I don't think it draws too much power.
