Hi,What causes phones not to ring out is when the ringer that makes you hear a tone when someone calls is damaged and does not work properly again.
The ringer is located inside the phone.You can get access into the phone by unscrewing the phone with a phone screw. It a little bit technical when unscrewing the phone.Just be careful not to damage the phone.
How to unscrew the phone.
Remove the back cover of the phone where the battery is,
then remove also the battery, at the edge you will see where the screw are located.(look closely).
After unscrewing,the screws, Open from the size of the phone,you will see where the ringer is located. It's usually round in nature. Remove and cover up the phone. (you can get a replacement ringer from any phone repair and sale of part store around you.
Ones your through with the ringer , 'wa la' Your done..
