Hi,
I have an Electrolux EWF 1074 front loader. Over the weekend it stopped draining. Cleared the Drain filter and it worked again then stopped, looked at the Drain filter again and found another item in there which I removed, however not the machine wont start any cycle. No error messages, and when you turn the selector dial it does display the time for each cycle as it always has, however the pause button is continually flashing.... Any ideas on what the issue mught be would be GREATLY appreciated...
Thanks for the information, although just wondering if there may be anyother options to try first as the machine did start again after it stopped the first time. I shut the power off to it for a little while the first time and it seemed to reset.....Thanks for the information, although just wondering if there may be anyother options to try first as the machine did start again after it stopped the first time. Re:
Go back and check your connections. If you had the machine working previously and none of these issues were there before you cleaned out the drain area of the unit then your first step would be to check the connection to the pump as well as your connections going from the control to the door area as well. If after you have checked all your connections to the pump the door lock assembly, the control and the touch pad the unit is still doing the same thing then message me back. Before you do any of the checking of connections in the unit first hold down delay and extra rinse buttons together for 3-5 seconds. This usually will unlock the control if the control is locked on the unit. Also if the delay and extra rinse and the checking of your connections does not solve your issue then also message me back with the number of times the pause button is flashing and how often it flashes as well. If you have any further questions message me those back as well. I await your reply Thanks again Rick

hi
you need to take the door apart to be able to replace the handle
is a easy job but remember the order you take it apart to be able to put it back on
Try turning the main power off at the socket for 5 mins - the door may open then , if not turn the power back on and see what happens.
i had this problem on an Electrolux and it worked.
E20 is an error code for a drain pump issue. The error will reset itself if the issue has been resolved. If it or another code continued to appear, then the unit has not been accurately fixed.
I have the same problem "no power at all" when plug into the power wall inlet. No lamp on, display is blank/no led of 7 segments lit, nothing. The door can be opened and closed normally. Holding Delay and Extra Rinses buttons when power on the electrolux EWF 1074, doesn't help either. The electricity wall plug in is active. What can I do more ?
you need to hold the option and extra rinse buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds...you will see the padlock symbol go and then use your machine as usual
you need to turn machine on and hold the option and extra rinse buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds, the symbol will go and you'll be able to use your machine again as usual
