I bought a Toshiba e750 Pocket PC Today. Apparently the vendor didn't think it was necessary to inform me that it had french OS installed and now he won't take it back.
Is there any way (i will pay) to have the OS changed to Dutch (or English) or have the PocketPc exchanged with another one?
I looked for the Pocket PC images on the Internet also. I found no place to download them.

Need hexeditor. 1.Open kernel.nb0 file 2.Go to offset 0x1012 and u find 0x09 (english) change it to 0x0C (japanese). 3.Now when you flash the english rom will not say anymore that invalid language it will see it as a japanese rom 4.After flash the pocket pc it will reset , and the english rom it will start You still have the old japanese bootloader
Hope this helps
First when you say messing what sort of things were you messing with on it?
If it was settings or anything like that try to connect it to the computer you may need software, download the software which reads Toshiba e750 Pocket PC or any pocket PC'S prefferably from www.toshiba.com
If u use a WLAN access point,
you should:
1. configure your wlan router to allow internet
2. choose "WORK" in the network connections configuration dialogs.
and maybe you will have to configure the proxy server too.
I suspect this is a powersaving issue:
u need to play with the system power saving configuration dialogs, and turn off WLAN card power saving.
maybe you will have to give completely up the power saving - only backlit.
So far as I know the ROM Image ( Windows Mobile 2003 ) Version 1.0108.0410 is a World Wide Version.
Its available at
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com
As far as I know it is not easy to do because the hardware is bundled with the software. How did your friend make it? As far as I know it is not possible to order it from service partner.
Check also Toshiba site and see what you can find in download area.

I have read some Information about Toshiba PDAs. There is a technique called SD™ IO card. In the technical specifications I found this Info:
1 x SD™ card slot (supports SD™ memory card, SD™ IO card, MultiMedia card)
So when SD™ IO card is the same as Bsquare SDIO Now! tecnique...
as far as I know the e750 supports the SD-Card I/O standard.
You can check your system seettings, go to START - SETTINGS - SYSTEM - SYSTEM INFORMATION - DRIVERS
There should be seen the SD/MMC Host driver, the SD/MMC Memory Driver and CF Card driver. Also if the gps card needs a driver, it should be installed also!
Perhaps a system reset helps you in the end!
