I would suggest that you remove the motor, and check the brushes for wear.
If they are less than 3 or 4mm long, then they need to be replaced.

check the manual . you can take the key mode off with the instructionsprobably a press and hold for 2-3seconds thing .If you dont have the manual you can get it from thermador. com they will order it for you. you will get it 2-3days. let me know how you made out:)
I had the same problem- machiine not spinning and a few days later not turning at all. Display would go from 11min to 1min.
I did 2 things - 1) changed the brushes on the motor- cost £7.50 .
2) whilst working under the machine disconnected pipe from drum to pump and emptied it- found 2 coins in the bellows.
