HI When I start my ALBA TV, there are horizontal lines across the screen with high noisy sound. I bought this TV just few months ago. thank you

T con board is responsible for digitizing picture info and what you see on screen. Any crazy items, distortion, are derived from there.
See if you can one on ebay - often the boards are parted out from other sets.

Sound like your Y-Sustain board has one foot in the grave. The Y upper buffer and Y lower buffer boards go when the Y Sus Goes too...

I'd suggest to bring it to repair shop if you're not technically literate

does any one can send me the schematic of TOSHIBA 32A40? I have a vertical problem and I need to locate the vertical IC or trancistor.
I only see a horizontal line on my Tv.

Sounds like an inverter problem. If the power supply is internal replace the capacitors coming out of the voltage regulators. These are usually 1000mf and/or 470mf. If that doesn't do the trick look up the numbers on the 8-pin chips that drive the secondary transformers on the inverter to see if they are getting the right voltages.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CONVERGENCE or any of the stk integrated circuits.There are few capacitors close to the vertical output ic, they are usually blue or red (could be 1000uf 50volts for e.g.)That where the problem is

TV FINE UNTIL 2 NIGHTS AGO HAVE HAD 4 YEARS, STARTED HAVING A FOGGY SCREEN WITH WHITE HORIZONTAL LINES. HAS SOUND A FOGGY SCREEN WITH WHITE HORIZONTAL LINES. called retrace lines please check 1 screen control on eht transformer is mituned 2 supply to screen of crt 3 supply to rgb video output is absent 4 connector loose 5 crt base loose thanks

sound like the screen control on the flyback is set just a little too high. the flyback has the red wire attached to the tube. the flyback has 2 small adjustable controls. if you look close enough 1 is marked focus & on is screen. turn the screen slightly to the left & look at your picture. the screen is like a master brightness & if it's up too high you will see what is called retrace lines. good luck.

try adjusting the green screen control. remove the front bottom panel of the tv by removing any screws holding it in place. gently pull of the front panel, there are gromets holding it in place, you will be able to gently remove the front, just make sure you get all those screws. now reove the small wodden or plastioc panel. now you will see the screen/focus assy. check to see of the screen controls are the top 3 or bottom 3. adjusted the center screen it's the green one, the other 2 are the red & blue. it is best to adjust in a dark room where the lines will show up easier. good luck
