Driver: Small piece of software that allows the Operating System to communicate with a device.
Windows XP and Windows 7 are two examples of an O/S.
The audio chipset is the device in this case.
http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Portal/supportsearch.doClick on the blue underlined - Audio - under the appropriate Operating System you are using.
Since you didn't state what O/S you are using, I am going to choose Windows XP Home for an example.
Click on the blue underlined Audio, under the Windows XP Compatible Drivers subheading.
Under the Fujitsu Software License Agreement, click on Accept.
A small window will come up on the right -
Opening S5582_AUDIO_WINXP-HOME.exe
Click on Save File.
Another small window will come up on the left.
Let the file fully download. Then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.
If a Microsoft 'squawk box' comes up ignore it. Click on Run.
At the bottom of the next 3 small windows, click on Next, Next, and Finish.
If you are not asked to do so restart your computer.
(Start > Turn Off Computer > Turn Off )
