Is there a utlity that allows me to IR print from my 3715? Documents etc, not photos
I used to use an HP Ir print utility with my old 3950 and I am looking for something similar.

On the device you want to chose the SCAN option and set it to ONLINE.
You then need an application that does TWAIN scanning and aquire image data. Set your scanner device yo "Canon Color Network Scangear".
A freeware product you can use to test is irfanview
You would otherwise need to do an aquire / TWAIN scan from MS Word or Adobe Acrobat (full/pro) or another software that does TWAIN scanning.
go into the printer and do a test print. start>printer & faxes>right click on the printer in question>properties>printer preference button> test print ... try the printer's own test print. This is usually caused by a poor print head, low ink, poor cartridge or the need for calibration. Look in the maintenance tab in the printer properties for head cleaner, jet cleaner etc. This also happens with refill ink cartridges.
is this windows compliant and if it is in the control panel check to make sure that your sound that you use is default set some times this can lead to a no sound usuage
