Calendar question RX3715 / Windows 2003SE

I use the Win 2003SE calendar program to schedule appointments. I need to be able to review these periodically to produce total figures etc. I've noticed that appointments for a few weeks ago have disappeared. Is this an error or does my RX3715 delete these in order to save memory? If this is the case then is it possible to override it? Thanks.

Yes the default is that the ipaq only keeps the past two weeks. To change this, open Activesync on PC, double click on Calendar.

Calendar does not schedule

dont' use google calendar, but you may have to use google chrome or other google program to get calendar information. if you used microsoft calendar then it would work with the Microsoft windows software, which is your operating system and not a third party software.

Is Calendar Creator v12 compatible with Windows Vista. System Requirements on pkg reads Windows XP (Home & Pro), SP3.1, Pentium II 300 MHz processor faster, etc.

    Greetings,

It's my best understanding that it is not compatible with Vista. Were I you, I'd do a search something like "compare Calendar Creator 12 to" and review some of the programs that would pop up to see if any of them look like a possible solution. Also, you might want to make sure they'll run on Windows 7 toward the chance of a later upgrade on your part.

It might be of interest for you to know that W7 Professional or Ultimate Editions come with the opportunity to download (free) their XP Compatibility Mode software which will allow you to run any XP program that is not scheduled to be formatted for Vista or 7.

    Regards,

    Marcus

When I sync the outlook calendar to my iphone, one of two things happens. 1. If I put an all day event in outlook, it syncs to the iphone a day earlier (both otlook & iphone are on same date &...

Make sure time-zone is the same for both iPhone and the computer.

On iPhone setting > Mail,Contacts,Calendars setting > Time Zone Support, make sure you are choosing the city where you are in.

Otherwise, make sure you have updated the iTunes to 7.5 or later.

Update to iTunes 7.5 or later to resolve this issue. If you're not able to update, continue reading for other options to resolve the issue.
Each Outlook calendar event has an internal property known as "Message Class." When some Outlook plug-ins are installed (such as Live Search Maps), the setting for the Message Class property can change from its default of "IPM.Appointment" to something else. iPhone and iPod touch are only able sync calendar events with the Message Class set to "IPM.Appointment," therefore any calendar events created after installing certain Outlook plugins may no longer sync.
To verify this, examine the property of the Calendar event items for MS Outlook and see if the Message Class shows something other than "IPM.Appointment" in any of the calendar events. To view the Message Class property for your Outlook Calendar events, add the Message Class field as one of the columns in the Current View using these steps:
    1. Open Outlook Calendar on the computer.
    2. Choose View > Current View > Events.
    3. For Windows Vista, choose View > Current View > Customize Current View.
For Windows XP, choose View > Arrange By > Current View > Customize Current View.
    4. Click the Fields button and choose All Appointment fields from the pop-up menu in the "Select available fields from" section.
    5. In the "Available Fields" column, select "Message Class" and click the Add button.
    6. Click OK.
    7. Click OK.
Now verify that all your calendar events are showing "IPM.Appointment" for the Message Class column. If you have calendar events showing a different value other than "IPM.Appointment" you will need to perform the following steps to fix the issue.
    1. Uninstall any Outlook plugins such as Live Search Maps or other plugins which change the default Message Class "IPM.Appointment" to some other value. Once the plugins have been removed, verify if those calendar events revert back to the Message Class of "IPM.Appointment" so that you can sync the calendar data to iPhone/iPod touch. If you are able to sync, try adding the plugins back one at a time and verify that you are still able to sync.
    2. If removing the Outlook plugins does not change the Message Class value for the calendar events, manually change the Message Class value of those calendar events to "IPM.Appointment." For more information on Message Class and how to change the Message Class fields/value, refer to Microsoft's KB article 201087 How to update existing items in an Outlook folder to use a new custom form
    Good luck!

    Help with IPAQ RX3715

    (1) LAST USED APPLICATION Enable password protection. Start>Settings>Password (2) SENSITIVITY / PRIVACY Choosing "Private" prevents the appointment from appearing on your Today screen. I figured this out by creating two appointments for today and making one normal and one private. The private appointment is still viewable in the Calendar application, so if you want to prevent others from being able to access this, enable password protection. (3) TODAY MENU There is no way to do this using the software that came with the iPAQ. However, there may be third-party software that would accomplish it. I did a quick search that turned up nothing, but you might be able to find something. Try handango.com or pocketgear.com.

Casio pocket pc calendar doesn't show appointments that were syncronized from outlook: If I sync with outlook, the appointments I add on the Casio E-125 show in outlook, but the ones I add in outlook...

The Menu: VIEW - Categories option at the bottom, has all categories checked off. However, the logic dictates that it will only show the categories checked off, and if any appointment (appointments being made in outlook are not categorized) with no category would not show in the pocket pc. The logic written into the software, is, if no categories are checked off, then it will show ALL appointments. It would be nice if there was an option in the category view menu to SHOW ALL, but there isn't. You just have to uncheck all the categories.
