Question about Amazon Kindle Wireless Reading Device
Try to slide and hold the on switch until after the power light blinks three times (should happen after a little more than 5 seconds). Release the switch after the blinks and the Kindle should start up.
This is only necessary if the Kindle was switched off by the same method before, or if the battery was completely drained. A short nudge of the power switch merely puts it in and out of a power-saving sleep mode, the prolonged hold really cuts / reinstates power.

Testimonial: "Nope, nothing. I tried plugging the usb into my laptop. The Kindle doesn't show up or it says no data/driver found."
