Do you have to change the batteries in a GPS C- 340?

The Garmin 340 is negative ground.

Press on the screen and then on the "preferences" icon. Press the right arrow until you an icon labeled "clock" or "time". Press it. You'll get the current time, with up and down arrows that allow you to change the time.

What you need to do is go to preferences, and then click the arrow until you come to a house with a cog on it that is the change home address icon

is the battery charged? if so press and hold the power button for a few seconds

You may need to change the fuse periodically, which is at the tip of the adopter! regarding battery, you may need to contact waste disposal section for disposing the unit since it contains lithium. Don't consider much presence of high amount heat and direct sun rays at new battery for longer duration and have fine

my gps is a 340 looks alot like 330 but on the back of myen it says 340 how ever i need the slip that holds the gps and take the connection cord i tryed best buy and oll loccations that i can think of can you help me [email protected]

You can change all your preferances in "Change Preferances". It is the icon of a wrench.

Champ...If your 340 stops responding, try turning it off and back on.If this does not help, reset the 340.

1.Unplug the power and the usb cables to remove external power.
2.Place your thumbnail in the groove located under the Garmin logo on the faceplate and gently pull off the faceplate.
3.Press the reset button for about 3 seconds.
4.Connect the 340 to a power source using power cable. The 340 should automatically turn back on and operate normally.
